THE COLLEGE UNIFORM

(Last update February 26, 2009)

THE NEW COLLEGE UNIFORM SHOP

college shop

The College Uniform Shop is a self-service shop, with advice from professional staff and friendly and experienced parents.  This shop services both Keilor and Taylors Lakes campuses.

THE COLLEGE UNIFORM

All students must be properly attired in correct school uniform.  Full school uniform must be worn to and from school, even if travelling by car.  School blazer/jacket must be worn to and from school except when the temperature is over 30 degrees.  It is expected that all students wear the summer uniform in Terms 1 and 4 and winter uniform in Terms 2 and 3.

At the beginning of the year students are issued with a College Diary.  This diary lists all required uniform items as uniform requirements will differ at different class levels, for example in Year 5 all students upgrade their Junior School uniform to Middle/Senior School uniform which includes blazer and senior sports track pants and rugby tops.

UNIFORM FITTINGS

When students are accepted into the College an appointment for their uniform fitting can be made by contacting the College Uniform Shop directly on 9334 0112.  This is essential as the sizing of the uniforms differ from every day casual wear.  Garments are fitted with growth patterns taken into consideration.  While the uniform is a little larger than normal street wear this will allow the garment to accommodate a growing child.

Prep fittings for students commencing in 2010 will commence on September 8, 2009 and Year 5 fittings will be scheduled for October 13, 14 and 15.  Fitting times are between 9.30am to 2.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Fittings generally take 30 minutes per child.

Year 9 fittings will commence in mid November with special late night fittings from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.  The exact dates will be listed in Whispers.  No appointments are necessary. This year the Year 9 uniform can be purchased at anytime, however we provide late night trading for parents who have difficulty in getting to the College Shop during normal trading hours.
