Tours
Opportunities to be involved in new and different activities are an integral part of the options provided to students at Overnewton. Each option is a unique experience that enhances the development of the individual. Tours equip students with the knowledge and confidence to live harmoniously within different communities, both new and familiar, at home and abroad.
Students at Overnewton have the opportunity to travel to the following destinations during their time at the College:
- New Zealand (South Island)
- Japan
- Djarragun College (Queensland)
- Zambia
- Central Australia
Outdoor Activities
In Year 9 and Senior School there are a range of opportunities for students to interact in a variety of outdoor recreational settings in Victoria. These include fishing boat charters, downhill skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Buller and surfing and body boarding at Anglesea. These activities generally occur during school holiday or weekend times. Specialist outdoor instructors provide the necessary instruction where required.
