Please be advised that in the interests of the College and the wider community, we have decided to postpone our upcoming Weekly Tours for the remainder of Term 2.
We encourage you to still register your interest in a Weekly Tour and we will contact you with new information as it becomes available.
Attending a Weekly Tour gives you a good insight into the College structure, facilities and atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to view our school.
Please be advised that in the interests of the College and the wider community, we have decided to postpone our Term 2 School Alive Tour.
School Alive Tours are held once a term and are an opportunity for prospective students and their families to tour the school on a normal school day. Tours are scheduled for 9.30am, and each family is assigned a pair of Middle School students who take great delight in conducting a tour of their school.
The tours generally take up to an hour although this is totally dependent on the visiting family – if more or less time is required, this is accommodated. Families are free to visit classrooms and are able to observe classes in progress. On these mornings, senior staff members including Heads of Schools are available to meet with visiting families and answer questions and address concerns.
The tours are followed by morning tea at which the Principal or the Head of Campus gives an address to those in attendance. This morning tea is also attended by senior staff members presenting an opportunity for visiting families to have an informal chat with these staff members if they require.
Take advantage of this opportunity to see the vibrant learning atmosphere of a normal school day at Overnewton Anglican Community College.
