What happens when you bring together a commercial lawyer, a Senior Solicitor and an Acting Inspector from Victoria Police?
A fascinating, lively and honest conversation with three classes of VCE Legal Studies students.
The College was delighted to welcome back three Old Collegians to share their experiences and insights: Amanda Lis, Lawyer at Twenty20 Legal; James Sofianos, Senior Solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office; and Acting Inspector Kate Lockyer from Victoria Police.
Each panel member brought a unique story to the conversation, giving students an authentic insight into the many pathways and possibilities within law and criminal justice. It was wonderful to see the level of engagement, curiosity and warmth in the room.
From the perspective of our Career Development team, storytelling has impact. Even more so when those stories are shared by people who once sat in the same classrooms as our students.
