Year 7 Maths Takes Centre Stage
Overnewton was proud to host Year 7 Maths Games Day on Monday, welcoming 42 teams from schools across Victoria for a day of mathematical challenge, collaboration and competition.
From complex problem solving and the fast paced Maths Relay to a precision focused origami challenge, students put their mathematical thinking, teamwork and speed to the test.
Congratulations to Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School’s all girls team for taking first place, with Scotch College second and Trinity Grammar School third.
A huge thank you to every student and staff member who travelled to join us, and to our Overnewton students and staff who helped make the day possible.
