First Day of Junior School

The School Day
The school day begins at 8.45am and concludes at 3.25pm.
Junior School students are encouraged to arrive at school by 8.45am. Classrooms will be open to welcome students at this time.
Upon entering their classroom at 8.45am, students follow a morning routine in preparation for the school day that begins with roll call at 8.55am. Timetabled lessons commence at 9.05am.
Year Level Home Groups enter and exit through specific doors, which will be communicated to parents at the beginning of the school year.
There is no supervision on school grounds before 8.30am. Students arriving before 8.30am must attend the Before School Care program.
Teachers are on yard duty from 8.30am in areas across the Junior School.
Students not collected by 3.40pm will be taken to the After School Care program and parents will be invoiced accordingly.

Period 1: 9:05 - 9:55
Period 2: 9:55 - 10:45
Recess: 10:45 - 11:15
Period 3: 11:15 - 12:05
Period 4: 12:05 - 12:55
Lunch: 12:55 - 1:45
Period 5: 1:45 - 2:35
Period 6: 2:35 - 3:25
Late Arrivals
Students who arrive late to school (after 8.55am) must sign in at the relevant Prep - Year 2 or Year 3/4 Reception.
Early Departures
Students who are collected early are required to be signed out at the relevant Prep - Year 2 or Year 3/4 Reception Desk by a parent or guardian.
Prior notice for early departures is required. Please email your child’s teacher via Compass, notifying them of your child's early departure details.
Class Timetables
The College operates on a two-week timetable cycle - Week A and Week B.
As there may be some variation in a student's Week A and Week B routine, please familiarise your child with their timetable and help them make appropriate uniform choices each day.
