Whispers Newsletter
The weekly College newsletter, Whispers, is published each Thursday and can be accessed weekly via the Compass platform notification.
This newsletter details upcoming events for Senior School and the College as a whole, as well as providing information, photographs and reflections of past events.
You will also find a wealth of information regarding our Community Engagement Program and the Parents & Friends Association.

The Compass Parent Portal is your one-stop-shop for College and child progress updates.
Compass is Overnewton's integrated online platform, giving families real-time access to important information about their child’s progress and College life. Whether at home or on the go, Compass keeps you informed and engaged.
With Compass you can:
Monitor attendance and approve absences or late arrivals
Communicate with teachers and update contact details
View student timetables and the College calendar
Track homework and assessment tasks
Access academic progress information and download semester reports
Compass is accessible on any modern web browser or via the Compass School Manager app for iOS and Android devices. Each parent or guardian receives their own login credentials for secure access.

Teacher Communication
Emailing or sending a message via Compass are acceptable forms of communication for parents wishing to provide teachers with a message or ask a question. Teachers will respond to messages within 48 hours on school days.
We value communication about your child. If there is a need to speak to your child’s teacher regarding any matter, please make an appointment via email. Trying to speak to a teacher before school without notice is often problematic therefore, making a specific appointment is a more effective form of communication.
