Each school day at Overnewton is thoughtfully structured to support meaningful learning, positive routines and strong connections. From the moment students arrive, they are welcomed into a calm, well-organised environment that sets the tone for a successful day.
The School Day at Middle School
The school day begins at 8.55am and concludes at 3.25pm.
Teachers are on yard duty from 8.25am each day.
Middle School students are encouraged to arrive at school by 8.45am and enter their classroom at 8.50am, ready for roll call and to prepare for timetabled lessons which commence from 9.05am.

With a balance of focused class time and regular breaks to recharge, our daily schedule is designed to help students thrive both in the classroom and in the playground.
