Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is available at both Overnewton campuses for students from Prep to Year 8. Whether you are looking for reliable care before and after school, or engaging programs during the school holidays, our OSHC service provides a safe, supportive and flexible option for busy families.
Care can be booked on either a permanent or casual basis, with casual places subject to availability.

Overnewton partners with Big Childcare, a trusted provider with extensive experience delivering high-quality care in school communities across Australia. Big Childcare staff create a welcoming environment that supports play, learning and social connection, with a focus on student wellbeing.

Service Hours
Our Out of School Hours Care programs provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children outside of regular school hours—giving families flexibility and peace of mind.
Out of School Hours Care is provided at the Multipurpose Hall on the Canowindra Campus.
Before School Care is available from 6.45am to 8.45am, helping ease the morning rush with a calm and supported start to the day.
After School Care runs from 3.25pm to 6.00pm, offering a relaxed space for students to unwind, play, and connect with friends after a busy day of learning.
We also offer Holiday Programs during all school holidays, with full-day care available to support families year-round.
